MOUNT ST BERNARD ABBEY
In August 2007, Dave and Maureen visited Mount St Bernard Abbey, and I am pleased to include some photographs here. The Abbey is situated in the Charnwood Forest, in Leicestershire.
An area of outstanding natural beauty, and a place of great tranquility.

Photographs from Dave and Maureen's holiday in Norfolk in September 2007. Top left, St Margaret, Herringfleet. Top right, the incredibly ornate church of St Margaret, Hopton On Sea. Below that, All Saints, Belton. Below left, and the magnificent thatched church at Fritton, described as one of the gems of East Anglia. To the right of that, and maintaining the theme of Round Tower churches, a picturesque view of the church of St Peter & St Paul, Burgh Castle.
